Submitting an anonymous TIP.

Description:

There are two ways to submit an anonymous TIP to an Agency; via SMS and via webpage submission.

SMS

To submit a TIP via SMS, you will first need to confirm the agencies group keyword. Follow the steps below to obtain the keyword; 

1. Login to https://local.nixle.com/accounts/login/ 2. Search for the agency in the Navigate & Discover search
3. Click on the required agency name
4. Locate the TEXT-A-TIP information with the keyword

Using the keyword, send a TIP using the below format to 888-777:

TIP >Keyword< followed by the message.

Webpage

To submit a TIP via the webpage, simply click the following link: https://nixle.com/tip/ and then follow the steps on the webpage to submit the anonymous TIP.
