How to reset a Nixle resident's password.
To reset the password for access to your Nixle account, please follow the steps relevant to your set up:
Using Nixle by home phone landline?
Please contact Nixle at 877-649-5362 for your password
Using Nixle by mobile phone?
If you receive messages from Nixle by phone, text PASSWORD to 888777, and we'll text you your new password.
Using Nixle by email?
- Go to local.nixle.com.
- Choose Need your login or password?
- Enter the email address associated with the user account and choose Reset My Password.
- Click the link in the corresponding email.
- Confirm your new password and choose Change My Password.
If you are already logged into your Nixle account and would like to reset the password, please follow these steps:
- Click on the Account tab at the top right-hand corner of the page
- Next to Password, you will see the option to Change Password
- Enter your old password, and new password and choose Change My Password.
