When a resident subscribes to receive alerts from a specific zip code, there may be overlap from a neighboring city or other agency. In order to stop any overlap of unwanted publications, residents can follow the steps below:

1. Login to https://local.nixle.com/accounts/login/.
2. Click on the Settings tab.
3. Click on the desired zip code on the left-hand side of the page.
4. De-select the checkboxes next to the desired agencies to unsubscribe from.
5. Click Save.

If the resident does not have a Nixle Citizen profile, they can send a text message with the word 'PASSWORD' to 888-777. The password is sent to the resident and their username will be their 10-digit phone number.
